I finally have something new to show. This is Marilyn's quilt for our new challenge. Her "theme" was to use a technique using big stitches to sew all the layers together, instead of sewing by machine or fusing. The background is a piece of my hand-painted fabric. I finished the edge with a zigzag stitch and then ran a piece of yarn around the edge. The fiber Divas meet this Friday. It feels good to have something to show this week. I've been having trouble getting into my quilting lately. I think part of it is the time of year. I seem to have trouble each year at this time.

I love the colors that you ahve used and the big stitches add such wonderful texture!! Considering all of the snow that you all have had this year it is no wonder that you are having a slow time!! Spring and more light is coming!!
great work!!
hugs!

Great colors! What are the circular doo dads? Glad that you are creating again. I always slow down this time of year too but I figure that it is a well needed rest from the nutso remainder of the year.
